El Dorado Hills, CA – Fresno City Councilmember Garry Bredefeld, 6th District, endorsed Rep. Tom McClintock for re-election to the 5th Congressional District.

Councilmember Bredefeld also noted that “Rep. Tom McClintock was there from day one fighting against mask and vaccine mandates that were being imposed by Governor Newsom. He too fought against these draconian measures that devasted our economy and communities when few others did.”
The newly drawn 5th Congressional District encompasses El Dorado, Amador, Calaveras, Tuolumne, Mariposa, Stanislaus, Madera, and Fresno counties. Rep. McClintock has represented all the counties except Stanislaus County in the current 4th Congressional District.
