Since the passing what we've called the "Cruise Control Act of 2011" - which resulted in a U.S. credit downgrade and two more years of outrageously unsustainable borrowing and spending - Congress has been on recess.

For some Congressmen, August means vacation. For Tom, it's means sounding the warning on the failure of this Congress to fix our fiscal situation and getting feedback from you. Starting this week Congressman McClintock will be holding a series of town halls throughout the district.
