Since passing what we've dubbed the "Cruise Control Act of 2011" — which resulted in a U.S. credit downgrade and two more years of outrageously unsustainable borrowing and spending — the Congress has been on recess. 

For some Representatives, August means vacation. For Tom, it's meant sounding the warning on the failure of this last Congress to fix our fiscal situation and getting feedback from you.
