More than 4/5 of the uncounted ballots in this race were announced today, boosting our lead to 1,793 votes, or 0.49 percent. There are less than 4,100 ballots yet to be counted – all from counties that we carried with between 51 and 53 percent – and Charlie Brown would need to receive 71.9 percent of the remaining ballots to overtake our current lead.
We are told to expect the final tallies from the counties still outstanding to be announced by early next week, and I expect to be making a formal statement then. For now, I think we can safely say that the fat lady is singing – and she’s singing our song.
My sincere thanks to the hundreds of volunteers and donors whose time and resources made it possible to assure the fairness and accuracy of this vote. I will have more to say next week, but for now the most appropriate – though completely inadequate – words I can offer are THANK YOU.

Arnold is going to work for Obama. www.protectmarriage.com has asked the court to rule on Prop 8 but it has already ruled on gay marriage hence there will be no change. Only a recall of Brown, the LT Guv, and the 4 justices will work. A new guv is needed replace Arnold now and not the dem LT Guv for enforcement of Prop 8. Had McCain finished his campaign at the Prop 8 headquaters he would have done better in CA.

Tom McClintock, and all other serious and actual conservatives throughout the entire U.S., need some serious brainstorming sessions done in order to find long-term, successful solutions to having conservatism, at each and every political level, make a successful, long-term political comeback throughout the entire country! Now that leftists control almost everything important politically at each and every political level throughout the entire U.S., the more that socialistic solutions to problems become deeply entrenched into U.S. society for the long-term, the more difficult it will really be for all of conservatism to become a political majority again. Socialism creates many generations of people who become "government dependents" throughout their entire lives, and, just like drug dependency, government dependency also becomes very addictive to everybody who is on it, which also makes it a very difficult addiction to successfully break. I'm from Massachusetts, and the leftist dominance of politics, at each and every level here in Massachusetts, has been ongoing here since the 1950's. All non-leftists in Massachusetts still continue to fail to officially break the ongoing trend of leftist political dominance, and, in many ways, "Massachusetts politics", with all of its ongoing political problems, will officially begin to go national on January 20, 2009! Add to this that all of the ongoing political problems with "Chicago politics" is also going national on January 20, 2009, and the entire U.S., as a country, is really in for a "serious world of hurt" for a very long time! I presently and sadly don't see that the entire GOP has even fully understood what has just happened to them on November 4, when too many from within the GOP seriously want the GOP to move even more to the "political center" instead of seriously and successfully moving back to the "Ronald Reagan political right" on all of the issues and for always! The entire GOP will seriously be a political minority for a very long time, if not forever, for as long as they refuse to actually move to the "political right" and then always stay a conservative political party forever! There are still way too many conservatives and way too many GOP supporters who really are clueless about what is really coming their way very soon about the future of politics in this country, and seriously trying to have the entire GOP become "Democratic Party-Lite" at any point in the future is absolutely positively the wrong way to go!
